Another educational project, this annual report was an exercise in brand identity, typography, layout, and consistency. The color red is featured predominantly throughout the report to keep with CAM’s brand identity. The design of the layout informed the decisions behind the typography since the amount of copy varies depending on the section. On sections with more copy I would need to use both columns for text and sacrifice the additional image. When this was the case I could group the photos at the beginnings of new sections so as not to lose any of the content provided. I was able to use master pages to set my templates and fill in the copy from there to ensure consistent margins, typeface sizes, and typeface styles.
