This poster mimics grunge music posters in the late 90s and early 2000s. Paper color was an important visual factor in this design as it resembles paper that has been worn and aged. Using flat design to illustrate the singer and the speakers allowed me to build the relationship between the illustration and the typography by having the negative space in the “A” be his hand. To create more visual variation in the text I set the dates in red and the locations in black which helps break the block of text into more readable parts.
